Job Summary
Push wheelchair passengers to and from gates, roll customer-occupied wheelchairs safely down the jet bridge, and ensure brakes are secured before exit. Complete necessary wheelchair or incident reports, follow dispatcher gate orders, and address passenger questions or concerns while maintaining professional relationships with airport authorities and airline staff. Adhere to workplace health and safety rules, including substance misuse policies, and work various shifts with weekend availability. Perform other duties as assigned while meeting customer service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work various shifts
- Weekend availability
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to obtain an airport badge
- Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US
