Job Summary
Maintain one dedicated job-site from one inch of snow until the season ends, operating 1 to 4 yard wheel loaders equipped with Metal Pless blades or pushboxes. Serve as an on-call snow removal operator available at any hour between October 30 and the final storm, with shifts ranging from 6 to 12 hours. Work outdoors in freezing conditions, lifting 50-60 pounds, while using a smartphone for mobile dispatch and communicating with the team under high-pressure situations. Possess a valid driver's license and complete required safety training and drug testing.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work outdoors in freezing weather conditions
- Maintain good physical condition to be able to lift 50-60 pounds without assistance
- Valid and Clean driver's license with no restrictions
- Pass a company safety training course and drug test
- Ability to use smartphone for two-way communication, mobile dispatch
- Work well under high-pressure situations
- Have transportation to reach jobsite
Desired Qualifications
- Must be available and willing at any hour between October 30 and the last snowstorm of the season
- Shifts vary depending on the size of the storm, and can be anywhere from 6-hours, to more than 12-hours long
