Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day production and quality goals within the warehouse, supervising staff to meet delivery schedules and exceed quotas. Organize workflows, monitor employee activities, and address logistical problems while ensuring products are stored and delivered accurately. Manage inventory, conduct audits, and coordinate supplies to minimize waste, maintaining accurate records and profitability. Enforce safety regulations, conduct training, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure a safe work environment. Schedule team meetings, set goals, and communicate regularly with the Warehouse Director to resolve distribution issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Vocational/technical certification
- 3-5 years warehouse experience
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience of at least 25 employees
- Able to fully utilize Microsoft Office
- Able to fully utilize WMS software
- Able to fully utilize ERP software
- Good mathematical skills
- Able to apply written instructions to machine set up and maintenance
- Excellent knowledge of all facets of print production
- Excellent knowledge of press
- Excellent knowledge of inks
- Excellent knowledge of graphics
- Having a working knowledge of operations including automated workflow system for both digital and press production
- Able to perform all warehouse functions when necessary (hands on)
- Standing for prolonged periods of time-up to 8 hours or more per day
- Frequent lifting of objects up to 40 lbs
