WFS Senior Manager Development and DevOps

Job Summary
Lead the Developers and DevOps professionals for the WFS Digital Factory by defining strategy, executing roadmaps, and driving operational excellence. Manage the full software development lifecycle, oversee CI/CD pipelines, and champion infrastructure as code using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. Direct cross-functional teams through agile ceremonies, hiring, and performance management while acting as a liaison between engineering, QA, and security. Establish change management controls, ensure audit readiness, and present risk assessments to senior stakeholders. Work in a work-in-hybrid structure with a focus on embedding security, quality, and best practices across cloud platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Computer Science/Information Systems/Mathematics/Engineering degree
- AWS/Azure certifications
- 10+ years of software development experience
- at least 3–5 years in DevOps
- 3 - 5 years technical leadership/management experience
- 10 years IT experience
- 8 Years of solid cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, BitBucket pipelines)
- Hands-on experience with Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
- Strong background in agile delivery and lean product development, as well as Waterfall, and hybrid of these
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., banking)
- Experience in leading Native Mobile application development (e.g., iOS, Android, Hybrid)
- JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Python, Java, Go, Swift, Kotlin
- Node.js, .NET Core, Angular, React, Spring Boot
- Low-code platforms (e.g. OutSystems)
- AWS, Azure, GCP (including deep knowledge of the cloud platforms services)
- Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines
- Terraform
- Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog
- Git, GitHub, GitLab
- Jira, Confluence
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
