Job Summary
Greet visitors, direct inquiries, and conduct intake interviews for Workforce & Family Services programs. Provide information on eligibility and community resources while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations. Review participant records in the electronic case management database to ensure completeness for monthly Quality Assurance. Distribute funds according to representative payee plans, prepare and issue checks, and maintain accurate check registers and file documentation. Contact creditors to establish payment plans and assist clients in procuring energy assistance and other community resources. Attend required trainings on de-escalation and rapid resolution techniques.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience &/or training
- equivalent combination of education & experience
- Must pass credit & background check
- Must not contribute to or create a real or perceived conflict of interest surrounding clients or client accounts
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, company policies, & procedures regarding the same
- Properly wear & maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Maintain agency confidentiality
- Comply with & promote good safety practices
- Comply with all health, safety, & fire standards and all local, state, & federal regulations (WISHA & OSHA)
