WFP Lead Data Scientist - Vice President

Job Summary
Lead data science projects within the Workforce Planning (WFP) organization to design and develop machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical models. Oversee the full model development lifecycle, mentor junior team members, collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, select appropriate methods, ensure robustness, and communicate data-driven recommendations to drive real-time inference and decision making. Requires advanced degree and 5+ years of data science experience (or PhD with 3+ years) plus hands-on ML expertise, strong programming (Python/R/Scala), and experience with big-data technologies; prior leadership of AI/ML projects and ability to frame business problems into technical solutions. This is a full-time, in-office role (Plano, TX) with no hybrid/remote arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a quantitative field; 5+ years of experience as a data science professional or related field; 2+ years leading AI/ML projects; hands-on experience with statistical/ML/AI models; proficiency in Python, R or Scala; experience with big-data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, SparkML); strong communication and stakeholder management; ability to frame business problems as technical problems; knowledge of model development lifecycle and MRGR process; cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred but not required
