Job Summary
Analyze context and key actors to detail constraints on WFP operations, advocating for adequate humanitarian space and multi-stakeholder peace windows. Support Field Offices in developing Area of Responsibility-specific access strategies and provide advice on negotiations with authorities. Cover daily access notifications and clearances for road, river, and air movements while documenting missions, meetings, and ground dynamics for institutional memory. Contribute to emergency response efforts by coordinating with the Conflict, Security and Access Team and support training field staff on humanitarian negotiation policies and principles.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- Advanced university degree with course work in international relations, politics, social sciences, law or a related field
