Job Summary
Lead front-end operations for Ollie’s retail store, overseeing the front-end, entrance, and exterior standards while driving associate productivity and customer service. Build and lead a sales team focused on strong customer experience; assist with payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and related reporting; provide leadership for donation programs and Ollie’s Army sign-up/membership; lead monthly safety meetings and ensure follow-up actions; assist with hiring, development, supervision, and scheduling of store Associates; support merchandising execution and pricing updates; perform Team Leader duties to open and close the store and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
- Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates
- Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods
