Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of educational and workforce development programs, including GED, ESL, and job placement, ensuring all files and records remain accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits, manage reporting processes for TEAMS, UKG, and billing, and maintain documentation of participant progress and employment outcomes. Supervise staff through hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations while setting SMART goals and facilitating one-on-ones. Lead team efforts to meet graduation rates and placement targets, conduct participant orientations, and provide direct support and behavioral intervention as needed. Cultivate relationships with employers and community organizations, coordinate events like graduations, and represent the organization in outreach efforts. Maintain confidentiality of participant data and complete all administrative duties within designated timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with time sensitive goals
- Must be able to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
- Must have own transportation to off-site facilities
- Must have communication capabilities, via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Must be able to satisfy I-9 requirements
- Must be able to pass background check
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or in process
- Prior supervisory experience in the workforce development industry
- Experience working with people with disabilities or who are disadvantaged
- Experience in job development for individuals with multiple barriers to employment
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with other team members
- Proficient in standard computer operation systems (Microsoft Office)
- Proficient in relevant software to perform the requirements of the position
- Bilingual
