Job Summary
Wet Utilities Engineers and Designers at AECOM will contribute to highway water and sewer utility design on large-scale Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects. The role spans junior, mid, and senior levels, with responsibilities including conveyance system design (manholes, pipes, distribution lines), coordination with environmental, roadway, structures, MOT, and temporary drainage, and proficiency with Bentley MicroStation and ORD software. The position is hybrid (remote/in-office) and based out of a local AECOM office in the southern US, with relocation assistance potentially available. Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available. Preferred candidates may hold EIT or PE credentials and DOT experience.
Required Qualifications
- CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification or PE License
- State DOT experience
- Experience using ORD software
