Job Summary
Wet Utilities Engineers and Designers (Junior, Mid, and Senior levels) needed to join AECOM’s Southeast Transportation team. Hybrid remote/in-office role based out of a local AECOM office in the southern US, with responsibilities including design and conveyance system work for highway water and sewer utilities, coordination with environmental, roadway, and structures teams, and execution on large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects. Key duties include design of highway water/sewer utility systems, conveyance components (manholes, pipes, distribution lines), and experience with Bentley Microstation; applicants should have a BS in Engineering with corresponding years of related experience (2 for junior, 6 for mid, 10 for senior) and may pursue EIT/PE certifications. Relocation assistance may be available. The role is described as hybrid (remote/in-office), and sponsorship for US employment is not available.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering
- Demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience acceptable for Junior level
- BS in Engineering + 2 years related experience or demonstrated equivalency for Junior level
- BS in Engineering + 6 years related experience or demonstrated equivalency for Mid-Level
- BS in Engineering + 10 years related experience or demonstrated equivalency for Senior Level
- EIT Certification or PE License (preferred)
- State DOT experience
- Experience using ORD software
