Job Summary
Wet Assay – Laboratory Technician responsible for performing routine and non-routine analyses of samples in the Wet Assay Lab using established analytical techniques, preparing reagents/calibration standards, maintaining instrument performance (AAS, auto-titrator, pH and conductivity meters, UV-vis, Pycnometer), following SOPs, ensuring QA/TAT compliance, participating in audits, and maintaining training records. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced lab, attention to safety (SDS, PPE), and contributions to data quality and client reporting. Strong emphasis on technical support to senior technicians and adherence to health and safety policies. Education: BSc in Chemistry or equivalent experience; salary range $19-$20.51/hour with annualized compensation between $39,520 and $42,661 depending on location and experience.
