Job Summary
West Valley Area Exceptional Student Services Teacher (K-12) at Leona Group Schools focuses on designing and delivering a suitable curriculum for ESS students in Phoenix-area campuses. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instructional activities, developing schemes of work and lesson plans, establishing objectives, preparing classrooms, selecting varied instructional resources and methods, instructing and monitoring student use of materials and equipment, using technology to support instruction, observing and evaluating progress, assigning and grading work, providing feedback, supporting individual student progress, maintaining records, reporting, managing behavior, counseling students, and participating in extracurricular activities and meetings. Requires a Bachelor's Degree, Mild-Moderate Disabilities K-12 or Moderate/Severe Disabilities K-12 Certification, relevant teaching experience, technology knowledge, and IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
