Job Summary
The Next Steps Director leads LCBC West Shore campus initiatives, overseeing onsite, online, and offsite groups; develops group leaders; coordinates care ministries and pastoral response systems; ensures monthly Next Steps class schedules and Baptism processes; and recruits volunteers to drive engagement, including achieving 60% group engagement and 50% adult attendee serving. Must model spiritual growth, embody LCBC values, and partner with campus leadership. Responsibilities include building and coordinating groups, managing care ministries, overseeing benevolence and chaplain on-call development, and aligning programs with annual generosity initiatives; requires strong communication, team-building, confidentiality, and organizational skills, with weekend presence and a 40-45 hour weekly schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a professional, multi-task, and multi-staff environment with track record of successfully accomplishing goals
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities
- Ability to build teams
- Ability to vision-cast the purpose and mission
- High level of professional approach to details with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in handling office matters of a sensitive nature
