Job Summary
Manage incoming service requests for protective packaging equipment by creating, prioritizing, and scheduling work orders in ServiceMax and SAP. Coordinate field technicians for installations, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs while monitoring availability, travel logistics, and parts stock to optimize efficiency. Proactively communicate with customers regarding service dates, arrival windows, and delays, and facilitate cross-functional escalations with sales, quality, and parts teams. Schedule secondary tasks such as service estimates and maintenance program quotes, and participate in weekly regional sales and service meetings. Act as a backup to other coordinators when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years' experience working in a field service group, or dispatching type role, or scheduling role, or a combination thereof
- Experience in an application-centric field service scheduling tool, module, application, or software, such as Service Max Dispatch Console or Service Board
- Experience with SAP ERP or similar
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in industrial equipment, automation, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with packaging machinery or industrial automation
- Bilingual verbal and written Spanish and English
