Job Summary
West Regional Sales Manager for The Father’s Table oversees the Western US foodservice market. Responsibilities include establishing sales strategy and business plans to drive growth and profitability, aligning plans with the division’s goals, expanding into new markets and defending margins, managing discounting and the regional budget, and coordinating with brokers and sales agency representatives. The role requires leadership to train and coach brokers, conducting regular reviews and sales meetings, ensuring training for new reps, monitoring activity standards, staying informed on industry changes and competitive trends, and reporting to the Sales Director. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and 5-7 years of consultative foodservice selling experience is expected. Strong relationships with foodservice distribution and regional account personnel are highly valued; knowledge of foodservice and K12 foodservice is a plus. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in consultative, solution selling in the Foodservice market
- Strong relationships with Foodservice Distribution and Regional Multi-Unit Account personnel in the West Market
- Ability to lead, manage and develop local sales agency representatives through training and mentorship
- Financial management and analytical skills (market data, sales plans)
- Knowledge of foodservice and K12 Foodservice a plus
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, internet software, and contact management systems
