Job Summary
Grow the West Coast recycling and recovered materials presence by developing new suppliers, customers, and trading opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with industry partners while purchasing and selling commodities, leveraging metals experience to expand into fiber and plastics. Visit processing facilities and negotiate pricing, quality, and freight terms to execute successful transactions. Monitor market conditions to identify growth strategies and work closely with operations and logistics teams. This field-driven role requires 50-60% travel throughout the West Coast and other relevant markets, with expenses covered by VIPA.
