West Coast Operations Coordinator

Job Summary
Monitor and manage active shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery, serving as the primary point of contact for customers, carriers, and drivers throughout the shipment lifecycle. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve transportation issues while maintaining accurate, real-time shipment information within internal systems. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless freight execution and maintain detailed records of activity and issue resolutions. Partner with the daytime operations team to ensure effective communication and smooth transitions between shifts. Work Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of freight brokerage or transportation logistics experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to quickly learn transportation management systems (TMS)
- Monday – Friday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST
- Based in our Jacksonville office
