Job Summary
Conduct two 12-hour weekend shifts plus one 12-hour weekday shift, with weekend coverage running Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. through Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. Maintain competencies for assigned clinical areas, including BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH, completing initial certifications within 90 days to ensure eligibility for continued employment. Hold a current North Carolina RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing school. One year of clinical experience required for charge responsibilities. Paid call time is at the standard, non-WEO base hourly rate including appropriate experience pay.
Required Qualifications
- WEO +1 employees will be required to work two 12 hour shifts per weekend plus one 12 hour shift during the week
- Current North Carolina RN License required
- Graduation from accredited School of Nursing
- Current BLS Certification required
- ACLS required in ICU, L&D, IMCU, Telemetry, PACU, ASU, EU and Emergency Department
- NRP required in Nursery, L&D, Postpartum, and Pediatrics
- EFM required for L&D, Postpartum, and Pediatrics
- STABLE required for Nursery
- PALS required in Pediatrics, ICU, PACU, ASU and Emergency Department
- NIH required IMCU, ICU, and Emergency Department
- One year of clinical experience for charge responsibilities
