Job Summary
Provide nursing care to assigned patients under direct supervision of the Unit Manager, Preceptor, and Professional Nurse Educator while completing the 12-month Nurse Residency Program. Execute the full Nursing Process using evidence-based practice, adapt service delivery to population-specific characteristics, and partner with patients and families to set goals and update care plans. Participate in sequential orientation phases including System Orientation, Core Nursing Onboarding, Specialty Onboarding, and monthly NRP sessions. Maintain licensure under the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and uphold American Nurses Association standards. Candidates must be a 2026 nursing graduate with less than six months of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing
- Bachelor's Degree (BSN)
- Less than six months of experience
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
- Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
