Job Summary

Execute analytical services offshore and onshore, including PVT sampling, water analysis, oil analysis, and gas analysis, while maintaining equipment and adhering to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Deliver services with minimal supervision by conducting laboratory analyses across PVT, Chemistry, Rocks, or GC labs and preparing comprehensive reports. Calibrate, maintain, and pack equipment for immediate deployment, ensuring a safe, organized work environment and accurate documentation of all assignments. Participate in training seminars and safety meetings to enhance technical knowledge, assist in training other personnel, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Maintain records of personnel movements and time sheets while demonstrating adaptability for offshore assignments as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant laboratory experience, including exposure to analytical testing and data processing
  • Educated to a minimum HNC or equivalent in a science subject
  • Valid BOSIET and MIST offshore survival qualifications
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Comprehensive understanding of documented procedures, work instructions and guidelines relevant to the role
  • Proficiency in identifying, reporting all non-conformances and issues to immediate supervisor
  • Proficiency in following ISO 9001:2015 standards and QA/QC procedures
  • Flexibility to adapt to offshore and onshore work environments
  • Ability to protect and respect the confidentiality of company and client information at all times
  • Ability to follow company safety policies by performing all duties safely, actively addressing all unsafe practices and reporting them immediately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Technical Expertise: Applies knowledge of techniques, procedures, and equipment to deliver accurate and timely analytical results in line with quality and safety standards
  • Execution Excellence: Deliver impact through practical problem-solving, finding practical solutions to navigate and overcome obstacles, engagement with stakeholders, achieving shared goals using effective interpersonal skills and implements actionable and adaptive plans to achieve results
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrates a high level of accuracy in following procedures and documenting results. Identifies anomalies and raises issues appropriately
  • Quality and Compliance: Understands and adheres to QA/QC protocols, regulatory requirements, and company standards
  • Problem Solving: Identifies routine issues in testing or equipment and contributes to basic troubleshooting or corrective actions, escalating when necessary
  • Collaboration and Communication: Works effectively as part of a team, communicates clearly with colleagues, supervisors, clients and contributes to shared department goals
