Job Summary
Lead implementation, support execution, and drive continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs across multi-basin production, maintenance, and facilities operations. Partner with Wells leadership to embed HSE considerations in daily activities and projects; provide visible hands-on HSE support during high-risk operations; champion efforts to prevent personnel and process safety events; ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state agencies; support hazard identification, risk assessments, and corrective actions; lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses; build field engagement and trust with supervisors, operators, and contractors; promote open reporting of near-misses and hazards; manage contractor HSE qualification and onboarding; develop and deliver HSE training; track HSE performance metrics and drive standardized improvement across basins; participate in emergency preparedness and incident response; mentor HSE personnel to develop a sustainable talent pipeline.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years HSE experience in upstream oil and gas
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-basin operations is preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading HSE programs in field-based environments
