Job Summary
Welcome Members and Guests with genuine hospitality, manage the reception desk for check-ins and appointment scheduling, and answer inquiries about fitness classes and wellness offerings. Lead group fitness classes, conduct personalized training sessions, and demonstrate proper exercise techniques while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe Wellness Center. Restock supplies, monitor equipment, and assist with opening and closing procedures to ensure seamless service. Seasonal full-time hours from October to May. Certified personal trainer certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of fitness, health, and wellness profession
- Certified personal trainer certification accredited by NASM, NCCA, ISSA, or equivalent
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Willingness to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification upon hire
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to show up on time
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the Spa, Fitness, and Wellness industry and/or customer service role
- Certified Nutritional coaching
- Additional languages
- Active proponent of health, fitness, and wellness
- Prefer candidate to be a certified personal trainer and/or certified group fitness instructor
- Certified Functional Strength Coach
- Certified Yoga Instructor
- Certified Group Fitness Instructor
- Certified Personal Trainer
- Multiple certifications
