Wellness Salon Manager in Training

Oversee salon operations in a fast-paced retail environment and drive performance through staff development, sales training, and customer engagement. Responsibilities include recruiting and orienting staff, coaching and counseling sales staff, scheduling and assigning tasks, monitoring controllable expenses, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the salon, building customer loyalty, and achieving sales goals and financial objectives. The role emphasizes leadership development, goal setting, and participation in a commission-based, performance-driven compensation model. Qualifications emphasize a high school diploma or equivalent, strong verbal and written communication, retail/customer service experience, the ability to influence others, physical stamina to stand and lift, reliable transportation, and flexible availability including nights and weekends. Compensation includes base pay plus up to 12% commission and potential bonuses; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and employee discounts.
