Job Summary
Support residents with personal care needs while encouraging resident-led decision-making in eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities. Observe health conditions, accurately document findings, and communicate updates to the care team. Maintain high standards of performance with diligence and care while participating in ongoing training. Work within a supportive team environment, adhering to rostered shifts including weekends and nights. Prioritize interactions with older New Zealanders through an attitude of living well, fostering a sense of independence and community.
Required Qualifications
- NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least two years' of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
- NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least three-years' experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
- Evidence of English test is required if from overseas
- Availability to work rostered shifts including weekends and nights
