Job Summary
Wellness Partners enrich residents’ lives in aged care by supporting personal care, encouraging resident-led decisions in eating, resting, movement, communication and activities, and by observing and documenting health conditions. Role involves teamwork with staff and residents, requires honesty and care, and includes rostered shifts with weekends and nights. Ongoing training is expected; strong customer service, organisation, problem-solving, and English-language ability are valued. Experience with older adults and a genuine passion for meaningful, purpose-led work is encouraged; opportunities for mentorship and a positive care culture are offered.
Required Qualifications
- NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least one year of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
- Evidence of English test is required if from overseas
- Arvida Level 1 to Level 3
- NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least three-years’ experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
Additional Requirements
- We will be interviewing and screening NZ Residents and NZ Citizens as a priority before looking internationally.
