Job Summary
Wellness Nurse supervises the Medication Assistance Program and evaluates residents' physical, medical, mental, and social conditions; responds to on-site emergencies and trains staff on relevant topics. Duties include auditing medication administration records, supervising direct care by Medication Technicians, serving as a customer-service role model for Medication Technicians, contributing to resident evaluations and care plans, and maintaining current rosters and significant change in condition updates. Requires California nursing license, First Aid/CPR, 2+ years of relevant experience, and strong English communication; benefits include PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, 401k, tuition assistance, commuter reimbursement, and on-demand pay.
Required Qualifications
- Current California License in good standing with Board of Nursing
- Preferred LVN
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a wellness nurse in assisted living/CCRC or related
- Legally Authorized to work in the United States
