Job Summary
Wellness Nurse RN at Sunrise Senior Living (Bedford Court, Silver Spring, MD) leads and supports resident health and care services, coordinates health needs, conducts regular wellness visits, monitors medications and documentation (MAR/TAR), communicates with residents’ families and physicians, and ensures regulatory compliance and infection control. The role includes training and monitoring of staff, maintaining wellness files, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives, with focus on resident-centered care and adherence to federal, state/provincial, and local regulations. Requires RN license, nursing degree, and ability to work weekends/evenings; experience in home health/long-term care settings and computer proficiency are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of approved college/school of nursing
- Current state/provincial RN license
- Minimum of one year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours
