Job Summary
Supervise Resident Services Department associates, including C.N.A.'s, and assist the Resident Services Director with the overall implementation and delivery of Resident Care Services. Manage the medication program, support resident assessments and service plans, and assist with clinical assessments per ALSA requirements. Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians while reporting significant incidents to the Executive Director. Provide coaching and mentoring to associates, participate in orientation and in-service training, and assist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain effective communication with supervisors and staff. Requires a Licensed Practical Nurse with two years of clinical experience in an assisted living or long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state(s)
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
- Two years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living or long-term care setting preferred
- Experience and/or special interest working with seniors
