Job Summary

Lead the Wellness team and act as a superior supervisor in the absence of department heads, ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care. Provide direct nursing care including medication passes, assist residents with mobility and transfers, and respond immediately to call lights and requests for assistance. Maintain accurate and efficient documentation of resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents. Demonstrate a sense of urgency that prioritizes resident needs while exemplifying core values in every interaction. This role requires a standing, walking, and physically active environment with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates must hold a current LPN or RN license in good standing within the state of employment and be criminally cleared. Required Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment
  • Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall
  • Criminal clearance
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents
  • Availability for 7:00pm to 7:00am shifts
  • Availability for Monday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts
  • Availability for Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday shifts
  • Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stoop all day
  • Ability to be active as a Superior Supervisor in the absence of department heads
  • Ability to be available to help with call lights and requests for assistance from the team
  • Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs of a resident first
  • Ability to complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to exemplify core values ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents
  • Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
