Job Summary
Lead the Wellness team and other departments as the building supervisor in the absence of department heads, ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care. Provide direct nursing care including medication passes, assist with resident transfers and mobility, and manage call lights with a focus on resident safety. Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently while exemplifying core values in every interaction. This part-time role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds daily. Located at Summit in Little Rock, AR, this position offers a 401(k) match and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment
- Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations
- Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law
- Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
