Job Summary
Wellness Nurse Manager leads the wellness team during the 6:00pm–6:00am shift (Wed and Thu) at Parkway in Blue Springs, MO, supervising care delivery, assisting with call lights and resident requests, and ensuring accurate documentation of resident assessments and medical records. The role requires providing hands-on nursing care (medication passes as needed), maintaining knowledge of current care standards and regulations, and possessing an active LPN or RN license in good standing. EMR experience is preferred. Strong communication in English, a positive attitude toward residents, and physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds (including two-person transfers) are required. Required Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license in good standing within state of employment
- Provide direct nursing care including medication passes
- Thorough working knowledge of care standards and regulations
- Knowledge of medication regulation and law
- Experience with or knowledge of EMR preferred but not required
- English literacy and communication with residents
- Positive and energetic attitude toward residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers
- Criminal background cleared
