Job Summary
Wellness Nurse (LVN) position supporting the Medication Assistance Program in a Continuing Care Retirement Community. Responsibilities include supervising medication administration, auditing medication records, assisting/directing care provided by Medication Technicians, conducting staff trainings, responding to on-site emergencies, supporting resident evaluations and care plans, coordinating health clinics, guiding residents in navigating health resources, participating in safety and education initiatives, and aiding with campus health campaigns. Requires current California nursing license (LVN preferred), First Aid/CPR-AED certification, and at least two years of nursing experience with at least one year in wellness nursing within assisted living or RCFE regulations. Strong clinical, customer service, leadership, and English communication skills are essential; supervisory experience is a plus. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Part-time schedule includes weekday evenings and weekends with competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current California license in good standing with the Board of Nursing required (LVN preferred)
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification required
- Minimum of two years experience as a nurse
- Minimum of one year as a wellness nurse in assisted living or a CCRC with knowledge of Title 22 RCFE Regulations preferred
- One year experience as a home health nurse a plus
- Legally Authorized to work in the United States
