Wellness Nurse, LVN

Wellness Nurse (LVN) coordinates resident care and medication management under medical direction to keep residents as independent as possible, seven days a week. Responsibilities include communicating with healthcare professionals, coordinating incidental medical, dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care, administering medications as ordered, supporting Medication Technicians, assisting with resident assessments, conducting ongoing staff communications about changes in health, maintaining thorough documentation, coordinating prescription orders with doctors and pharmacies, and ensuring compliant care within state regulations. Requires California nursing license; preferred one year RCFE experience; strong computer skills and ability to interact with seniors and cognitively impaired residents; CPR/First Aid certification and background checks required.
