Job Summary
Monitor resident health, safety, and well-being through thorough assessments and holistic wellness care. Assist in training and monitoring medication administration while supervising Certified Nursing Assistants in accordance with state regulations and community policies. Maintain clinical quality assurance standards and lead the Health and Wellness Director's team to promote the highest degree of service. Work per diem shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am) at Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living, requiring proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- current LPN license
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and of nursing practices, techniques and methods applied to health and wellness resident
- An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs
- The associate must use proper body mechanics
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years' experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting
- Experience working with residents with Alzheimer's or other related dementias
