Wellness Manager {RN or LPN)

Responsible for carrying out the instructions of the Director of Wellness. Supervise and monitor nursing staff to obtain highest quality care by performing routine nursing duties. Accountable to Director of Wellness/Executive Director for all nursing department activities and maintaining the corporate philosophy of quality care. Supervises HHAs, CNAs and facility staff; conducts daily rounds of Assisted Living and, if needed, retirement residents; observes and reports patient conditions; administers medications per doctor’s orders; communicates needs to DOW/RN/ED; orders medications; ensures proper documentation (V/S, weights, nurse’s notes, kardex); maintains nurse’s station and med room; orients new staff; completes admission/discharge evaluations; checks equipment; provides guidance for nursing assistants; promotes good interpersonal relations with residents and staff; performs related duties; may perform other tasks as assigned by the Assisted Living Manager. CPR certification required within 90 days of hire; may be photographed or video-recorded for advertising purposes.
