Job Summary
Wellness Manager overseeing nursing operations in an assisted living/retirement facility. Responsibilities include supervising Home Health Aides and CNAs, conducting daily rounds, observing and reporting residents' conditions, administering medications per signed orders, coordinating supplies, supervising documentation (vital signs, weights, nurse notes, kardex), orienting new staff, conducting admissions/discharges, maintaining nursing station and med room, promoting care quality, and ensuring professional interactions with residents and staff. Requires RN or LPN license, ability to manage staff, and commitment to resident wellbeing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
- Currently licensed to practice per state
- Ability to communicate well in writing
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60lbs
- CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire and yearly thereafter
