Job Summary
Wellness Director overseeing resident services staff in assisted living/memory care communities; responsibilities include supervising staff, establishing medication systems, conducting assessments to determine resident needs and service plans, operating the department within budget, ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations, coordinating training and orientation, communicating with residents’ families and physicians, supporting hospitality/leasing/sales processes, and maintaining positive relations with stakeholders. Requires RN or LPN license, experience in direct patient care and healthcare leadership, and ability to work weekends.
Required Qualifications
- RN or LPN licensed to practice as required by state regulations
- Experience in direct patient care and assessments/observation of clinical conditions
- Experience in recruiting, training and managing people in the healthcare field
- Experience at a department head level in Assisted Living or related industry
- CPR certified and knowledge of basic first aid
