Job Summary
Oversee wellness programming for residents in an assisted-living setting; develop and adapt wellness activities to meet diverse physical and cognitive abilities, and document and report resident progress. Requires LVN or Med Tech experience with relevant certifications in gerontology or wellness programming; strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to support resident well-being and coordinate care with the management team.
Required Qualifications
- LVN or Med Tech experience
- Relevant certifications in gerontology or wellness programming are a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy when working with elderly residents
- Ability to create and adapt wellness programs to suit various physical abilities and cognitive levels
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in documenting and reporting on resident progress
