Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments, short-term psychotherapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention for NYU Shanghai students while managing case records and referrals. Liaise with faculty, administrators, and external medical providers to address mental health needs, including alcohol and drug use and eating disorders. Collaborate with student affairs professionals and the NYU New York counseling team to align standards of care. Serves in an on-call capacity for overnight and weekend emergencies under clinical supervision. Facilitate mental health promotion workshops and participate in multi-disciplinary treatment teams.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Psy.D in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- LCSW
- Licensed in the United States or other country with similar licensing standards
- 3+ years' clinical experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals
- English language proficiency
- Proficiency with electronic medical records

- Ability to speak Chinese Mandarin
