Job Summary
Design, implement, and continuously improve a school-wide Social-Emotional Learning program aligned with the academy's mission and evidence-based frameworks. Teach classroom lessons on emotional regulation, stress management, healthy relationships, and resilience while integrating a Christian worldview into all content. Provide short-term individual and group support for students facing social, emotional, or personal challenges, conducting regular check-ins with at-risk students and maintaining accurate documentation. Serve as a primary responder in crisis situations, coordinating with administration, parents, and outside agencies, and establish clear boundaries of scope of practice with timely referrals. Partner with families to support student well-being through consultation and workshops, collaborate with faculty to identify students of concern, and coordinate interventions including attendance at student success team meetings. Maintain a structured calendar for appointments, update crisis protocols, and administer annual surveys to inform programming.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Demonstrated passion for LCA's Christ-centered mission and commitment to faith-integrated practice
- Goal-oriented and results-oriented with the ability to track and communicate student wellness outcomes
- Strong leadership with the ability to take initiative and drive programming independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative team player who works effectively across faculty, administration, and families
- High integrity and serves as a positive role model

- Active participant in a Christian congregation
