Job Summary
Supervise assigned Wellness staff to ensure quality resident care and promote wellness while providing direct care services as needed. Support community policies and programs in conjunction with the Wellness Director, maintaining knowledge of current assisted living regulations. Actively protect resident and staff safety by recognizing, reporting, and taking immediate action to minimize risks, while reporting incidents according to community policy and state laws. Assist the Wellness Director in assuring infection control guidelines are met and tracking procedures are followed. Participate in staff meetings, recruitment, hiring, training, and evaluations of Wellness staff, and ensure medication associate training meets regulatory requirements. Requires minimum one year experience in assisted living or health care, with LVN and supervisory experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in assisted living or health care
- Maintains valid licenses/certifications as required by state and/or federal regulatory bodies
Desired Qualifications
- LVN preferred
- Prior supervisory experience in the health care environment strongly preferred
