Job Summary
Lead a team and provide direct service to homeless, forensic, or aging clientele to prevent institutional care and maintain community connections. Manage administrative, fiscal, and quality improvement functions while overseeing referrals, intakes, and discharges to ensure accessibility. Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, while holding direct service teams accountable for highest quality care. Implement continuous quality improvement systems, manage grant documentation and reports, and assess program risks promptly. Collaborate with program managers and partners at the Hedco location to deliver housing, employment, and behavioral health support.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree
- Valid California driver's license
- Personal vehicle
- Proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage
- DMV printout
- Three years of managing teams and progressive administrative, direct service, and leadership skills and experience in the social service field
- Two years' experience in behavioral health, rapid rehousing, temporary housing, permanent supportive housing, or shelter services
- Experience with Coordinated Entry System (CES) and HMIS
- Experience with Medi-Cal and/or CalAIM
- Demonstrated capacity leading diverse and multi-disciplinary teams toward a common goal
