Job Summary
Greet patients warmly and consistently deliver a superior customer experience from entry to exit. Assist customers in selecting appropriate products for their ailments and provide education on safe consumption and product uses. Check patient IDs, conduct point-of-sale transactions with 100% accuracy, and maintain accurate cash handling while abiding by all regulatory compliance and safety policies. Keep the store clean and tidy, move about on foot to meet patient needs, and remain upright for sustained periods. Work with leadership to understand company goals and procedures, fulfilling other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass state-mandated background checks and successfully complete the Department of Health's 2-hour training course
- Must be organized and maintain a neat and clean work station
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
- Must be able to perform simple math
- Must be willing to learn about new products and cannabinoids
- Must be aware of and abide by all laws and compliance surrounding retail operations
- Must possess a willingness to learn the effects and applications of concentrates and other THC infused products
- Experience in the use of cannabis with a willingness to learn strain genetics, including their properties and effects
- Is familiar with Windows, Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Must be able to operate the point-of-sale system and maintain accurate cash handling practices
- Must have 1-year of cash handling experience
- Must have 1-year of customer service experience
- Experience frequently interacting with customers, fulfilling customer requests and addressing customer issues, questions, or suggestions
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work
