Wellness Associate (Caregiver)

Job Summary
Support resident wellbeing as a Wellness Associate by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility), monitoring health status, maintaining medical supply inventories, and coordinating with the Wellness Director/Manager. Responsible for responding to resident emergencies with first-aid and arranging follow-up, orienting new staff, helping with shift coverage, maintaining records, and participating in in-service education. Requires compassionate care for seniors, effective communication with residents and staff, and physical ability to perform tasks up to 60 pounds; role may involve weekend/holiday work and potential exposure to infectious materials. May require use of lifting equipment (Hoyer Lift) and background/drug tests as part of employment. Location: Longwood, FL (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- Current State Nurse’s Aide registration preferred but NOT REQUIRED
- Experience and passion in working with seniors
- Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds
- Able to maintain positive working relationships with Residents, their families, peers, and other staff members
