Wellhead Welding Service Technician

Job Summary
Receive, assemble, test, install, remove, and repair all makes and types of wellhead and frac equipment in the field. Properly diagnose wellhead and valve issues to provide on-site repair or replacement while maintaining full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Relay critical information to management regarding personnel, equipment performance, or conduct issues, and ensure 100% completion of paperwork immediately after task finish. Keep personal training credentials current and scheduled as needed. This role requires 3+ years of like field experience, a valid TWIC card and driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Candidates must work on-call 24/7, including weekends, holidays, and extreme weather conditions, and be capable of working both offshore and onshore.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of like field experience
- 1+ years in similar position
- Valid TWIC Card
- Valid Drivers' License
- Ability to mediate, mitigate, and/or work through potential pre/during/post job issues
- Ability to effectively work with other field personnel to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to effectively train, groom assistants, advancing their roles within the organization
- Ability to lift, carry upwards of 75lbs without assistance
- Ability to climb, stand, & bend without issue
- Work on call 24/7
- Work overtime and on weekends/holidays, as required
- Pass a drug test (urinalysis/hair follicle) and physical
- Be able to work offshore and onshore
- Required to complete all necessary safety training as required by company and customers
- Be able to work a minimum 8-hour workday in extreme heat or cold working conditions
- Required to submit and pass employee MVR if job offer includes company-owned vehicle
- Must ensure paperwork is completed 100% and turned in immediately upon completion of tasks
- Must relay any information to management that should be addressed regarding poor personnel, equipment performance, or conduct detrimental to the organization
- Must keep track of personal training credentials, ensure training is up to date and scheduled as needed
- Must be able to lift object weighing up to 50 lbs
