Job Summary
Wellfield Technician I position at the Cherry Island landfill in Wilmington, DE. Responsibilities include modifying and expanding landfill gas systems, repairing gas systems as needed, identifying potential malfunctions, collecting data to maintain operations logs and generate daily reports, and responding to 24-hour on-call alarms to address environmental protection and monitoring system alarms. The role may provide backup to an equipment operator and to an Environmental Technician, and involves operating and maintaining related machinery and equipment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and First Aid/CPR certification (certification training provided). This safety-sensitive role includes drug testing.
