Job Summary

Facilitate skills-based groups, wellness education, and therapeutic activities to promote independence and personal growth. Support clients in developing coping strategies, symptom management skills, and community living abilities while providing advocacy, crisis intervention, and outreach as needed. Collaborate with treatment teams, families, and providers to ensure coordinated care, complete required documentation and wellness plans accurately, and safely transport clients to designated community opportunities. Deliver culturally responsive, compassionate service aligned with organizational mission and policies. Full-time Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED
  • Valid driver's license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver's license by the end of the 60-day introductory period
  • At least four (4) years of experience OR a combination of higher education and experience required if a High School/GED is the highest education obtained
  • At least two (2) years of experience OR a combination of higher education and experience required if an Associate's degree is the highest education obtained
  • At least one (1) year of experience required if a non-human service Bachelor's degree is the highest education obtained
  • Experience working with individuals with psychiatric, substance use, and/or developmental disabilities

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field
  • Associate's of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support from an approved institution
  • Enjoy leading groups, teaching skills, and creating uplifting activities
  • Approach others with empathy, curiosity, and respect
  • Communicate clearly and work collaboratively as part of a care team
  • Feel energized by supporting people as they build independence and wellness
  • Be adaptable, reliable, and eager to contribute to a positive team environment
