Well Planner II – Drilling Services

Job Summary
Well Planner II works with senior engineers, drilling teams, and clients to develop well plans and engineering designs for safe, efficient drilling operations. Responsibilities include developing trajectories and drilling programs, performing basic to intermediate engineering calculations (hydraulics, torque & drag), supporting operational schedules, analyzing offset well data for planning and optimization, collaborating with drilling supervisors and engineers, identifying risks and supporting mitigation, ensuring HSE and regulatory compliance, preparing End of Well Reports and well programs, providing support to ongoing drilling operations, and contributing to continuous improvement. Skills include a solid understanding of well planning and drilling engineering principles, analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and teamwork, willingness to learn in a technical environment, ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven setting, proficiency in Turkish and English (additional languages a plus), and familiarity with engineering or drilling software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum/ Reservoir Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in drilling engineering, well planning, or related field
- Basic knowledge of drilling operations and well design concepts
- Proficiency in Turkish, English; additional languages are a plus
