Job Summary
Develop and govern departmental standard operating procedures, workflows, and operational documentation to ensure consistent execution across the Well-Being & Benefits function. Serve as the operational and technical advisor by evaluating systems, identifying automation opportunities, and optimizing technology solutions for improved efficiency and data integrity. Lead project management for departmental initiatives, including market reviews, RFP processes, and annual renewals, ensuring delivery on time and within scope. Coordinate cross-functional efforts with subject matter experts and department leadership to support planning, execution, and stakeholder communication. Maintain strict confidentiality for all sensitive, privileged, and proprietary information. This role supports Latham & Watkins' global law firm operations from the New York office, offering a hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits including healthcare, 401k, and extensive well-being programs.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Eleven (11) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in human resources operations, project management, process improvement
- A minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience
- Familiarity with benefits and insurance plan, preferably
Desired Qualifications
- Exhibit advanced project management and program implementation experience, including the ability to sequence dependencies, manage multiple timelines, track deliverables, and drive projects to completion
- Possess strong process improvement, workflow redesign, and operational excellence skills, including experience developing SOPs, governance frameworks, and operational controls
- Demonstrate experience evaluating, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions, system integrations, data feeds, and business process automation
